Semantic portals from sociothecnical perspective of the actor-network theory

ABSTRACT Semantic portals, such as socio-technical artifacts, involve different actors that are aligned to offer communication and information search services more quickly accurately. The objective of this study is describe the network involved in construction semantic portals their interrelationships. precepts Actor-Network Theory were used a methodology design from selected studies literature. results indicated points actions human actors: portal administrators, developers end users, but also non-human actors, which made up mainly technologies. Each actor has his or her interest contemplated other fulfill roles towards common goal - high added value. It can be concluded features actors' guide changes current standards, focusing on quality research informational needs user community.
